An icon of the past
THE Bulldog, it's more than a knife: it's a piece of French cutlery history. Created in 1906 at the request of Manufrance, this robust, compact and reliable knife has won the hearts of workers, artisans, farmers and enthusiasts for over 70 years.
A symbol of popular know-how, it sold thousands of copies until 1978.

Partners of excellence
This project is the result of meetings and talents united around the same quality requirement:
- Romain Alvarez, (Coutellia Prize 2023), in charge of design and creation of the prototype.
- David Morel, CEO of Florinox, a historic Thiers company, for semi-artisanal manufacturing.
- Technical and historical support from Robert Beillonnet, double Meilleur Ouvrier de France, official sponsor of the Dogue.
Together, they bring this knife back to life by combining tradition and modernity.
